August 23 - Tim Anderson scored on a throwing error in the 10th inning to lift the Chicago White Sox to a 5-4 win against the visiting Seattle Mariners, ending their eight-game winning streak on Wednesday afternoon.
Justin Topa (3-4) started the 10th with Anderson on second base.
Trayce Thompson blasted a two-run homer for the White Sox, who had lost five of their last six games and nine of their last 12.
Anderson's RBI single in the third gave Chicago a 1-0 lead.
Colas led off the ninth with a double off Andres Munoz before Andrew Benintendi delivered a one-out, pinch-hit RBI single to tie it 4-4.
